[Source Code] by Virtual Light

We've always been about one thing when it comes to samples and patches - how usable they are. You're a producer, so you know you don't need more 'impressive' stuff that sounds cool but doesn't work in your tracks. You need the tools you're going to reach for when in the middle of a creative frenzy.

"Virtual Light's new Serum sound set is killer! Totally usable by anyone who likes it proper psychedelic... great inspiration!"

Tristan (Nano Records)

"Source Code is ridiculously fun - I ended up sitting at my MIDI controller for two hours just jamming these patches!"

Earthling (Zero1 Music)

So we were thrilled when Vincent AKA Virtual Light (Zero1 Music), fresh from his set on the Ozora main stage, approached us with a big bag of the Serum presets he's been building and developing for his tracks. Some of them are all singing and dancing, and some of them are bold in their simplicity - these are the twisted elements and psychedelic details that Vincent calls on in the studio. And we're thrilled to finally give you access to them.

We even had to persuade Vince to give a few of them up (you can thank us later)!

"I spent the afternoon browsing through the patches and morphing them with the macros, and wow! What a journey! I'm learning a lot of synthesis ideas just by taking the presets apart."

Tron (Zero1 Music)

Our chief sound designer Alex Story helped develop the pack for our Futurephonic community, who've come to expect only the best - every time.
